Reach, Reflect, Connect

Our Mission

Through God and unconditional love, we endeavor to reach, bless, and support the less fortunate and homeless by restoring purpose and provision for those in need in our community and communities around the world.

Our Story and Heart to Bless

Founded in 2007 by Jessica Wagoner as Blessings Under the Bridge, our organization has grown far beyond its beginnings. In 2023, we became Blessings and Beyond, reflecting our expanded mission and reach.

Our heart and focus center on our Blessed Program, creating specially made backpacks or duffle bags that serve struggling individuals, children, and families in our city—including individuals from diverse backgrounds, veterans, and victims and survivors of domestic violence—who are facing significant hardships. Through our growing food pantry, we provide Blessed Food Boxes to individuals and families through a partnership-based referral system. To support or sponsor a direct need contact Michelle Allen at [email protected].

Since 2019, we have also partnered with Bowdish Middle School to provide grab-and-go food items and fulfill special requests for students and their families. From 2023 to 2025, we also prepared and provided more than 500,000 meals for local shelters, helping meet critical needs across our community. Contact us today at [email protected] if you are interested in volunteer opportunities.

In addition to these efforts, we have developed a new, exciting project to further impact our community. This is the R|R Smart Locker Solution, a patent-pending biometric fingerprint locker equipped with a built-in mailbox and power outlet. This one-of-a-kind resource is designed to help individuals rebuild and restore their identity, and all profits generated from the R/R Smart Locker directly support and sustain our mission. Contact Robert Martin at [email protected] .

We also offer opportunities for groups and businesses to sponsor meal-packing events or volunteer in a variety of community events. Your sponsorship, support, and donation play a vital role in helping us continue this work, and we would be honored to have you partner with us and be a key part of blessing others in our community.

Our Story and Heart to Bless

Blessings and Beyond, formerly known as Blessings Under The Bridge, was founded by Jessica Wagoner in 2007. We have grown into the largest community outreach in Spokane WA by serving the homeless, the less fortunate, and the most vulnerable in our city for over 18 years. In 2023, we left the bridge to go beyond just serving and helping the homeless.

From 2023 through 2025 we provided over 500,000 meals for the largest shelter in Spokane and recently finished providing meals for the city's navigation center and shelter. As part of our existing and expanded mission, known as the “Blessed” Program, our goal is to be a LIGHT in our community by implementing a multi-faceted initiative to bless and support others.

We provide resources through service and in-kind donations that come from donors, sponsorships, distributors, and support through our community by helping assist immediate and ongoing needs. This includes our special filled Blessed bags & boxes full of essential items including food. These blessings are given to individuals and families in need that are established and developed through partnerships. These also include: groups, schools, agencies, programs, special events and other nonprofits. To support or sponsor a direct need contact Michelle Allen at [email protected].

OTHER WAYS WE BLESS

Since 2019, we have directly supported Bowdish middle school with food, clothing and other special requests for students and families within the school. In addition, we also do service projects and have a growing food pantry of supplies to help provide and supplement areas of need with the homeless, low income and other special requests and emergency situations. We hold meal packing events filling rice and beans and oatmeal where the meal packs are given to people in our community. Blessings still provides occasional volunteer opportunities at our facility through team building and serving events. Contact us today at [email protected] if you are interested in volunteer opportunities.

In addition, we have been working with engineers on an exciting solution to help others. This includes the secure R|R Smart Locker solution and a patent pending design. This features a biometric fingerprint locker with a built-in mailbox and power outlet. This resource will help others Rebuild and Restore their identity by feeling a little more safe and secure to move forward. These one-of-a-kind smart lockers are available for purchase today and can be a huge asset to many organizations including disaster relief and more. These profits stay to help support our overall mission. Contact Robert Martin at [email protected] .

OTHER WAYS WE BLESS THE COMMUNITY

As a small extension of our mission, and based on availability, we can offer simple catering services to be delivered or picked up from our onsite kitchen. On occasion, we also prepare meals for low-income families or outreach events.

Currently, we provide food and other ongoing needs for Vanessa Behan, Fairchild Airforce Base Members & their Victim Advocacy Program, North East Youth and Family Services, Family Promise, Stevens Elementary, Strong Families and many more.
