Our lockers are a one-of-a-kind system built with protecting the homeless in mind. Features include:

Securing identity is a critical gap in the fight against homelessness. Less than 30% of our homeless population has the correct documentation to defeat homelessness alone. Not having an ID can make it virtually impossible to escape homelessness – it means lacking access to:

federal, state and county buildings, where social services agencies that help the homeless are often located
I9 verification to obtain employment
bank account or a safety deposit box
food stamps
applying for disability benefits

This is real-time data taken in a semi-controlled environment and is based on information gathered during the weekly meal gatherings that Blessings Under The Bridge held every Wednesday for 15 years.
