Molina Healthcare Honors Jessica Kovac for Volunteerism

Jessica Kovac, Spokane – has created Blessings Under the Bridge, which serves more than 300 homeless men, women and children every week with a full catered meal. Not only does she provide meals to those less fortunate, but she also works to find clothing and school supplies to families in need.
Modern Woodmen of America has named Jessica Kovac as the recipient of a $100 award grant through the organization’s Hometown Hero Program for her work as the co-founder of Blessings Under the Bridge.

Blessings Under The Bridge held their big winter event, where people in need could load up on winter clothes, blankets and hot meals. Plus, United Healthcare provided check-ups to many people who haven’t seen a doctor in years.
Giving Tuesday is about making a difference and giving back to those who need it most. it began in New York in 2012 with the purpose of encouraging people everywhere to give whatever they can to a charitable organization or volunteer.
