It was 8 years ago that Gracelynn Mohr last served with Blessings, but she started serving when she was just 8 years old!
Grace, who is all grown up and the owner of 1902 Coffee Company, has never lost her heart and soul for those who struggle with homelessness! She asked me to facilitate a serve day so she could serve with her team. It has been 3 years since Iβve been out there myself! Andrea Harper of Red Robin joined us, and we prayed God would bless our night. We filled up our cars with special blessed bags, candy, gifts, backpacks, coffee, cocoa, and I led the way!
My first encounter was with my longtime and favorite of Blessings, Anthony Michael St John. From afar, I saw his smile!
While Grace glowed with love and kindness, I saw many old faces so excited to see me and my hoodie, asking, βAre you coming back? Oh, we miss Blessings. We love you guys.β It was bittersweet. It felt good to feel the impact we made for over 15 years under the bridge.
Thank you, Grace, for your beautiful heart and for being an example of who you are!! Love you!!
